in ashlyn's words:

I received a tMinus sponsorship during the 2021 - 22 snowboard season and as a result, was able to to travel and accomplish some of my goals. I traveled several times to Vermont and various other locations throughout the season. At the very beginning of the season I competed in a really fun competition, placed first, and won a new snowboard.

In the beginning of the season, I struggled with some fears and mental blocks. Thankfully, I was able to work through them by having a positive and encouraging coaching experience provided by tMinus. For the first time in my snowboarding career, I learned very detailed information about my equipment, the difference in styles of snowboards and bindings, and how they all work together. I also learned how important it is to have the right equipment and how to take care of my equipment properly. In addition to working on specific tricks, I focused on good nutrition, the importance of taking care of myself as an athlete, and how important it is to get rest in order to prevent injury. All of these factors really made a difference in my snowboarding overall and helped me to understand what’s required mentally to succeed in this sport.

Through this sponsorship I was able to grow as an athlete. I now understand what is needed to take my career to the next level, and for that, I’m very grateful.
